Willie K.William Kahaialii, is one of Hawaii’s most gifted musicians, spreading the joy of Hawaiian music, aloha, and more around the globe. He has also donated his time and talents to help many nonprofits and charitable organizations raise money for their needs. The last time Vern and I saw him perform was at the Grand Naniloa Hotel a few months ago to help raise funds for the Pacific Tsunami Museum, and he brought the house down.

Even now, as he powers through the difficult journey of radiation and chemotherapy for lung cancer, he takes time each day to make a video of encouragement and hope – for his loving fans and those on a similar path.

His family, friends, and Maui Tribe Productions, LLChave set up a GoFundMe account to help with Willie’s medical expenses, and donations of any size will be gratefully appreciated.https://www.gofundme.com/willie-k-cancer-fund. Please consider sharing this post with your friends.

Thank you, Willie K., for all the beautiful music. We look forward to hearing your Hana Hou.

Live Spot on KMUD NorCal community radio!!!

Oh! The adventures!!! After Kate Wolf, Erik and I played a few shows in NorCal, staying with our favorite meadow friends Jack and Ava!  They were so amazing and giving, letting us borrow their car for 2 days!  We did gigs at Shanachie Pub in Willets, and Blue Heron on the coast.  After that, we had been manifesting a ride to the rainbow gathering for 3 days when we played a live show on KMUD in Garberville/Redway, CA. We asked Jack to announce that we were looking for a ride to the Gathering or South to the Cali World Fest…within 10 min a guy named Runnen Bear showed up to the station and said he’d take us! Little did we know that we were gonna hang with this cool dude for the next 10 days of amazing new friends and fun and community!  (His truck had fallen off a 350ft cliff af ew months back, and Runnen Bear was in the middle of repairs, so his hood was still tied on with rope and his door made a huge crack sound like it was going to fall off every time he opened it).  A silly blue grass song came out of this adventure called, New Friends(some call it Ditch Cliff Road song).  Here is our YouTube channel with video:

Thank you all for your love and continued support:) Mahalo nui loa 🙂

All the Clan Dyken Crew! And erik and i watching Rising Appalachia and John Prine were highlights for us at this fest!  I love the smallness feeling of this fest all while there being so much to do!  I also love the water spritzers you walk under to cool you off in the 100 degree days! I also love that there are showers lol…but the best part of course is the humans! I love all the people who come to this fest!  We get to hang with Clan Dyken Band (clandyken.com) and their kids camp crew. I cant say enough about them and how they invited us to our first Kate Wolf 3 years ago and we felt so included! We give so much thanks to Clan Dyken n crew for making us feel so welcomed! They have the biggest harts! I hope we get to play on one of the bigger stages one day!
